News Trading Policy

• Evaluation:
  • Allowed with No restrictions
• Sim Funded:
  • Advanced & Premium Qualified: Allowed with no restrictions
  • Zero Qualified: Positions can be held through news, but no trades may be executed within 2 minutes before or after high-impact news events (red folder events on ForexFactory). The 4-minute window applies to the start time of speeches only, not their full duration.
  • 1st violation: Warning only, account retained but profits on the trade voided and payout denied until next eligible date. Subsequent violations after warning will lead to breach of the account.

Expert advisors

• The use of AI, bots, and other automated trading mechanisms is strictly prohibited across all account types.
• Semi-automated trading (e.g. signal-based indicators) is allowed as long as the trader manually places, monitors and manages all trades.

Copy Trading

• Copy trading is permitted for a single user across their own accounts. Use your smallest account as the Master account to avoid complications. Alpha Futures is not liable for any issues arising from copy trading software.

All or Nothing

• All or nothing practices are prohibited.

Average Trade Duration

• Consistently just opening and closing positions less than 2 minutes to make profits without any plan.

Gambling tendencies or "account rolling"

• Taking max leverage positions with no plan, no stop loss, and hitting max loss on the account then buying more accounts and repeating the process until a trade hits.
• Tick or Micro Scalping (trades less than 10 ticks and less than 2 minutes)

Price Limit Trading

• Traders are prohibited from trading any product within 2% of a CME price limit

Drawdown Adjustment Rule

• Withdrawing all profits after your trailing balance has been adjusted to the account balance will lead to account closure.

Inactivity rule

• Trading platforms archive trading data after 10 inactive trading days. To keep your account active, you must place a trade at least once every 10 trading days.
