Trading Rules and Instruments (2025 Update)

Instruments Supported Apex allows traders to trade futures contracts across all major CME Group exchanges, including equity, currency, energy, agricultural, and metal futures on CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX. Platforms and Trading Hours Traders can use Rithmic, Tradovate, or WealthCharts—each plan includes real-time data and platform licenses (NinjaTrader, TradingView-compatible Tradovate, or the WealthCharts platform). All accounts are active 23 hours a day, from 6:00 PM ET to 4:59 PM ET, Sunday through Friday. All positions must be closed by 4:59 PM ET each day.

Key Trading Rules

• No Daily Drawdown: Instead of a daily limit, Apex uses a live trailing threshold, which moves with your highest unrealized equity.

• Trailing Thresholds vary by account size. For example, the 100K FULL account has a trailing threshold of $3,000.

• Position Limits are enforced automatically. You’re allowed a maximum number of contracts per plan (e.g., 10 for the 50K FULL account). If you try to exceed the limit, Apex’s system will simply reject the order instead of disqualifying your account.
